On Tuesday, I had a mammogram as part of a normal wellness visit. Well, I got the call this morning from both my GYN’s office and PCP’s office stating that they saw something and want to do a diagnostic mammogram and ultra sound to determine what it is that they saw.
So, my message to you is this: If you haven’t already had your annual mammogram, please make sure you get one scheduled. You never know when one might just save your life.
I don’t know when we’ll schedule these additional tests, but in the meantime, if you will pray that all goes well with them, I’d greatly appreciate it. Knowing that I have an older sister who had breast cancer and is a four-year survivor is both scary and heartening.
