For those that are wondering what this whole deal is about, here are the rules:
- On your blog, copy and paste the award, these rules, a link back to the person who selected you, and a link to this post: "pink is my favorite color". There's a story of Pink Rose Award and other graphic to choose from.
- Select as many award recipients as you would like, link to their blogs (if they have one), and explain why you have chose them.
- Let them know that you have selected them for an award by commenting on one of their posts.
- If you are selected, pass it on by giving the Pink Rose Award to others.
- If you find that someone you want to nominate has already been selected by someone else, you can still honor them by posting a comment on their award post stating your reasons for wishing to grant them the award.
- You do not have to wait until someone nominates you to nominate someone else.
And now it's my turn to announce my list of Pink Rose Award recipients. And the nominees are:
Antigone Lost - Antigone has been through hell and back yet has persevered through some of the roughest things a woman can go through and is emerging from the other side. She deserves not just this rose, but the rose garden to walk in.
Busted Babymaker - After losing her Doodles halfway through the pregnancy, Busted was so deep in despair that I truly worried about her ever breaking the surface. Her ascent into the functioning world has been slow and painful, fraught with memories of the Doodles everywhere, but she is making it. She is moving forward while not forgetting. Busted is a true inspiration of how a person can come back from a horrible loss while still providing support to those in need.Nancy - Even though I know she has been nominated for this award previously, I would be remiss in not nominating her again. Despite her own struggles, Nancy has been able to provide encouraging words and even a shoulder while I've gone through my journey. She blogs not only about her infertility roller coaster ride, but also about her being a mom.
